Discover EGO7 Tall Boots

Discover EGO7 Tall Boots

We’re so excited to announce a brand new addition to our shop, EGO7! EGO7 riding boots formed around the concept of “accessible exclusivity”, which gives riders the feeling of a custom tall boot without being one. Created by Franco Tucci, the creator of Tucci, EGO7’s tall boots bring impeccable Italian design to an off the rack boot.

What makes these boots so special is that they have special features that you might not otherwise find in a stock boot such as a three level spur rest, and inner panel composed of E-tex material which protects the inner calf, and guarantees extreme wear resistance and ideal grip.

How to measure

Take a cloth measuring tape that has a side for centimeters, for the most accurate leg measurements. Be sure to put on your favorite breeches and riding socks when you measure. Stand straight with your knees slightly bent, not locked, and measure from the back of your knee to the floor, this will give you your height measurement. For your calf measurement, measure the widest part of your calf. For your foot size, another innovative feature of the EGO7 tall boots is that they come with two foot beds that can be stacked, so should you need to go down a half size simply put the second inner sole in

Break In Period

When you receive your boots and try them on for the first time, you will have to treat the zipper with care and not force it. You will have to pull the stretch panel toward the middle of your calf, stretch, and slowly zip up. After a few rides, your boots will be broken in and the height will drop, and the calves will give and you will have perfectly fitted tall boots! Note - if the zipper goes up easily on the first try, the calf is likely too big and you will need a smaller calf size. Watch the video below to see how to try them on for the first time:

Caring for your boots

Gently remove sand, mud, and sweat with a soft with a damp cloth, then apply the EGO7 Boot Cream. Cover the leather surface with a soft sponge or brush and let it set for a few minutes, then polish with a wool cloth. The E-Tex panel on the inside calf requires zero care, do not apply polish, creams, sprays or gripping agents. Chemicals can irreversibly damage the E-Tex material. Clean only with a damp cloth to remove dirt. After wearing and cleaning them, allow boots to dry and store them in a cool, dry and ventilated place away from heat or direct sunlight to prevent cracking. Use boot shapers to maintain the original shape.

We’re pleased to offer our customers a beautiful Italian boot that will feel like a custom tall boot. Call us today to schedule a fitting!
